QUICK FACTS:

Meeting people where they are to create real, enduring relationships:
Growing up in Alabama, Tyler calls Birmingham home and early on made his mark in the community. What started as an $8/hour summer job parking cars as a porter at a car dealership turned into a decade-long career running valet and parking services as a manager and then a regional consultant before he launched his own company Nice Guy Valet in 2018.

A strong intuition led him to invest $50 into a Facebook campaign which lined up his first five clients and his business took off. In 2023 he transitioned his business and intended to take some time off, however, fate aligned him with a job at the Suns and within a few weeks he was moving West.

“Parking operations should be like McDonalds,” he explained. “No matter what location, you should have a consistently great experience. There’s a very specific formula to make the Big Mac the same each time, parking is no different.” His formula for success focuses on the people who work with him and the clients he serves, making sure the process is easy so the relationships can be first.

Motivated, positive and kind, he views it as a privilege to serve each guest who enters his lots.

BEYOND THE EVENTS:
A proud dad of two young kids, he works hard to show what is possible and instill a good work ethic in his own
children, but also the upcoming generation joining the workforce. “We really let that generation down, we panicked during COVID, so now we have to show them how to work and lead and build relationships that can last, starting with understanding their why.”

His grandparents have been lifelong inspirations. One grandmother still cuts her yard herself at 84, while the other meticulously plans every family event to maintain our sense of community. Finding pure joy in watching his future grand and great-grandchildren run around is how he defines success, and he has his sights set on a successful career to achieve that same contentment down the road.

In his free time, he’s with family, running (a treadmill guy) and enjoying the moments of everyday life.
