QUICK FACTS:

PRODUCING A SHOW TO ENTERTAIN & ENGAGE ALL FANS:
Donning a headset early on, Rachael fell in love with producing games, designing a script to entertain fans and bring the show beyond the game to life through event presentation.

After graduating from UO, she spent time with Octagon before returning to Eugene to oversee marketing for the Ducks’ women’s teams (basketball, volleyball, soccer) which merged her passion for game production with supporting women’s athletics. She followed that joy to Auburn, the University of Washington and ultimately back to Oregon to become their Assistant AD for Marketing before joining the Utah Jazz to focus on the show full time.

She loves scripting shows, being creative and bringing her ideas to life and has found the difference between NCAA & Pro is the unified focus. In college, all sports need support, with the Jazz, everyone rows in the same direction to put on the best show possible for the team.

Communication & organization are key to her role, notes, recaps & details make it all work.

BEYOND THE EVENTS:
A “live to work” mindset fuels her and she loves her job so much it doesn’t feel like work. “The butterflies you get from nailing the moments in the game and hearing the crowd energy, it’s almost like a high that you don’t get in other industries.”

Happiness is important and she has followed her drive for joy to work in places that prioritize the people and uphold a positive work culture, making the long hours worth it.

A self-proclaimed foodie, she’s tried nearly every breakfast sandwich in SLC. After which, she enjoys hiking with her two dogs and husband and exploring the outdoors.
