PRIORITZING PEOPLE ABOVE ALL ELSE DRIVES SUCCESS….
A Bay-Area native, Phil started college with a criminal justice focus before realizing his passion for sports. After graduating from Alabama, he took a job selling wine for Gallo where he learned the importance of selling, training and attention to detail. While there he applied tirelessly to every sports team he could before finally getting the chance to join the Orlando Magic as an intern. Jumping at the chance, he grew that role into a full-time sales position, then evolved into heading up retail before helping open Amway Center as the Director of Arena Operations-taking with him a great appreciation and empathy for the various roles in sports.
After 14 years with the Magic, he was recruited to help open Chase Center in San Francisco and moved back home to join the Warriors as Sr. Director, Arena Operations, and then promoted to VP of Experiences where he oversaw Guest Services, F&B Operations and Event Security. His favorite part was the opportunity to work with people across the organization and get creative to design a truly unique and impactful brand experience.
Ever cognizant of the importance of priorities, Phil made a shift in 2024 to focus on his family’s health and well-being, stepping away from his role at the Warriors. Not long after, relationships in the industry proved invaluable as he got a call to join the San Francisco Giants in a new business strategy role, where he is now.
BEYOND THE EVENTS:
A devoted father of two and husband to his best friend, Phil treasures every moment with his family. From International adventures to trips to Costco, he finds joy in spending time with the people who matter most to him.
From an early age, Phil's parents instilled valuable life lessons that shaped his perspective. His mom, who worked in the airline industry, took him on spontaneous standby trips around the world, opening his eyes to diversity and global cultures. His dad, who never met a stranger, exemplified the power of connection—whether chatting with teammates or opponents on the softball field—teaching Phil that relationships are essential in all areas of life. His brother, with shared interests and steady support, keeps him grounded and connected to his roots.
He and his wife used to bartend and each of his dogs has been named accordingly: Cosmo, Martini, and Stella.
An equal fan of being outside and watching great movies, Phil spends his free time relaxing with his family.
