A passionate ownership team secured a franchise through the league expansion. The group wanted to create an integrated, authentic brand experience for fans, while growing the sport. We worked to build the foundation for a long-term, sustainable community brand.
We focused on process and people to establish a strong organizational core. Using our extensive benchmarking database on league best-practices to compare staffing models, market sizes and growth potential we determined the optimal staff size and revenue projections. We worked in-market to develop and implement a hiring protocol focused on securing top-quality individuals that were not only talented and passionate, but the right fit for this start-up culture. We used our data models to develop internal process to optimize revenue and create a first-rate organizational culture.
With kick-off just a few short months away, we helped the team prioritize and make important business decisions the right way to avoid snap judgments that could have detrimental long-term effects. Our approach helped prepare the group to launch their brand to the community in four weeks time, setting the franchise up for a successful launch and integrated partnership approach for their brand to make a major impact in the market. In just two months we established organization protocol, launched an integrated regional marketing campaign focused on branding and revenue, and helped double sales for new season tickets. In just over four months we secured over half a million dollars in new sponsorships with two year commitments and built a pipeline for the team to continue growth during the season. The season launched with record attendance for the brand and was in the top third overall for the first half of the season, despite being in one of the smaller markets.
