QUICK FACTS:

CHANNELING HER FANDOM TO CREATE THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE:
Despite her rabid passion for basketball growing up, her first steps into sports were peripheral to the team side, starting in soccer before joining the Mohegan Sun team doing sports sponsorship and events for the casino side of the business. After more than a decade in that space, launching highly successful public events, she had that “aha” moment at a Sun game and has called the WNBA franchise home for the past four years.

Krista sees the far-reaching value of sports being more than just fun, it creates lifelong connections, teaches valuable life skills and builds a community that is central to its fans, especially in small New England towns.

Her role and responsibilities have grown exponentially, a team player who wants to elevate everything she’s a part of it, she’s raised her hand to tackle challenges across the organization and in short time has demonstrated amazing results from increased fan ratings on the entertainment to upticks in spend at merchandise and ticket sales.

BEYOND THE EVENTS:
A lifelong sports fan, Krista applied to one school, and only one, because 1) they promised to start a Sports Management degree (she was the first to graduate with that degree) and 2) for her long-time love for their basketball teams-she got in and was an integral part of their sports community as she built her skill set that would power her into leadership.

A boy mom who sets the standard for what a #BossMom in sports looks like, providing inspiration and motivation to her family and colleagues.

She’s a fan above all, love’s Connecticut and wants everyone to come experience a Suns game!
